Interested in sharing your knowledge, experience or vision with civil engineering and public works professionals from all over Alabama?

The Alabama Section of ASCE is a non-profit professional organization representing over 1,600 civil engineers and students throughout the state.  Our membership is comprised of 6 local branches from Mobile to Huntsville and multiple subsidiary groups inside that.

In addition, the Alabama Chapter of the APWA serves professionals in all aspects of public works, setting it apart from other organizations as a comprehensive public works resource.  APWA membership includes personnel from local, county and state agencies, as well as private sector personnel who supply products and services to those professionals.

Combined, ASCE and APWA Alabama hosts this annual Summer Meeting to bring their members together for 3 days to attend sessions focused on education, advocacy, and solutions that apply to them.

ASCE / APWA does not currently pay for speakers of technical and professional education sessions. Speakers that wish to attend the full conference may do so at no additional charge.  However, speakers are responsible for making their own travel arrangements and paying for travel and lodging associated with attending the conference.  We have a room block set aside for speakers at the Perdido Beach Resort if you still need to reserve a room.

Please consider using a personal email address if you have a highly restrictive work email account or add (janneyt@alabama-asce.org) as a trusted email address in your account.
