Attached is the mailout for the Alabama Section ASCE 2009 Summer Meeting. It is a 2-page legal size document with all of the information concerning the meeting. This flier will be sent via U.S. Mail to all on the Section membership list (which includes those without e-mail addresses), so you will likely see one in your "snail mail" in a couple of weeks or so. Also attached is a letter-sized registration form you can print and use for registration.

These documents and the sponsor/exhibitor registration form, are available on the Events page at the Section website www.alabama-asce.org.

The technical program is all but filled (we have one slot remaining!) with many interesting speakers. Our special guest during the Thursday business meeting will be Mr. David Mongan, P.E., F. ASCE, Past-President of ASCE. His presentation will discuss a number of issues/topics that are current within ASCE, including the Vision of the Civil Engineer in 2025, workforce development, Engineers Without Borders, the Body of Knowledge, sustainability and corruption. Thursday night will include the annual Family Seafood Dinner. The annual scholarship Golf Tournament will be held Friday afternoon. The full program schedule is available on the Events page, too.
