The Alabama Section Summer meeting is once again headed to the Alabama Gulf Coast. This year’s meeting will be held the Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach July 29-31.

The meeting will kick-off with a welcoming reception on Wednesday night and include the popular Thursday night family seafood buffet at the Orange Beach Pavilion catered by Bailey’s Seafood. The annual ASCE scholarship golf tournament will be held on Friday afternoon.

The technical program will occur all day Thursday and Friday morning and will include speakers covering a wide range of topics in civil engineering. The dual-track format will allow attendees to earn up to 9 PDH units.

Our special guest speaker during the Thursday luncheon will be Mr. David G. Mongan, P.E. F.ASCE. Mr. Mongan is the current Past-President of ASCE and is the president of Whitney, Baley, Cox & Magnani, LLC in Baltimore, Maryland.
