ASCE is Returning to the Lodge!
The long-awaited reconstruction of the Lodge at Gulf State Park is complete, and the Alabama Section of ASCE is excited to announce that we will be returning to the Lodge for the 2019 Summer Meeting on July 16 to 18, 2019. This will be a joint summer conference with the Alabama Chapter of APWA.
The Lodge at Gulf State Park, which includes a 350-room Hilton Hotel and 4 restaurants, is a model for environmentally-friendly coastal development where connectivity to the outdoors is a central focus. It boasts the largest beach-view ballroom on the coast, and access to nature and environmental restoration play a large part in the character of The Lodge experience. The surrounding Gulf State Park offers access to nearly 28 miles of educational hiking and biking trails, Segway tours, a nature center, outdoor classrooms, kayaking, guided nature walks, and more. Its beachfront location also provides easy access for a host of water activities.

This promises to be an exciting conference at a great venue. The program will kick-off with a reception on Tuesday evening (July 16th). The conference sessions will take place all day Wednesday, and go until noon on Thursday. Don’t miss this great opportunity to get PDH credits and support ASCE.

Early bird pricing will be available until May 31. After that, the regular fee of $325.00 will apply. Late registration fees will be $350.00 after June 30.
INSTRUCTIONS: All registrations (conference, sponsor, exhibitor, golf) have been combined into this single online registration. Please follow the instructions below based on the type of registration you are doing.
Exhibitors: If you are an exhibitor and have questions about the registration process or would like to select your booth location, please contact Lawren Pratt at (205) 972-6650 or lawren.pratt@kbr.com. Booth selection will be made on a first come basis in the same order as exhibitor registrations. Your registration as an exhibitor includes one conference registration. If you need to register additional participants from your company, please do so by entering the total additional number of participants needed under the Conference Attendee Registration line item.
Sponsors: If you need to register for a conference sponsorship or a golf tournament sponsorship separately, please do so in a separate registration for those items only. You may also contact Sheryle Reeves at (334) 244-0766 or sreeves@ttlusa.com for more information about sponsorships.
Conference Attendees: You may register yourself, and all additional participants from your company, with one click.
Names of Additional Participants: If you are registering additional participants, please include their name, badge and meal information in the registration.
Extra Lunch Tickets: If you are bringing any guests with you that are not attending the conference, but they will be joining you for the Wednesday lunch, please be sure select and pay for the corresponding number of Extra Lunch Tickets under the Add-Ons section.
Golf Registration: If you and/or the additional participants you are registering would like to play golf, please select the total appropriate number of Golf Registrations needed. Also, If you need to register for the golf tournament separately, you can run through this registration process again to select and pay for the golf items only. Someone will contact you regarding team assignments and handicaps.
Golf Tournament
You’re invited to the 23rd Annual ASCE/APWA Summer Golf Tournament being held at the Golf Shores Golf Club at 520 Clubhouse Dr, Gulf Shores, AL 36542 on the opening day of the conference, Tuesday, July 16.
The format will be a “four-man scramble” with a shotgun style start at 11:00 AM. Box lunches will be provided. Registration is open to all conference attendees, exhibitors, and guests. More information about the tournament is found on the forms linked below.

Attendees must identify themselves as participants of ASCE 2019 Alabama Section Summer Meeting, Booking ID # ASCE in order to receive the special group rate.
A credit card will be required to guarantee the reservation.
Cut-Off Date:
The Lodge will accept reservations until Monday, June 17, 2019, at which time any unreserved rooms will be released into general availability. The group rate will no longer be available after the cutoff date and the prevailing hotel rates will apply to any reservation(s) made after Monday, June 17, 2019. Based on space and rate availability, group reservation requests made after the cutoff date will be honored when possible.
Cancellations:
Cancellation must be made a full 5 days before scheduled arrival; otherwise, one night’s room and tax will be charged to the credit card on file.
